Hey, I’m Aunt Sis!

I’m Robyn. My family has always called me Sis, and when my niece came along, she started calling me Aunt Sis. It stuck, and when I needed a name for this little sewing adventure, Aunt Sis Sews just made sense.

I’ve always loved making things. I’m the kind of person who sees something and immediately thinks, “I bet I could make that.” So I try it, figure things out as I go, and usually learn a few things along the way.

I’m still pretty new to sewing, and that’s a big part of why I started Aunt Sis Sews. I wanted a place to share the whole process—the projects I’m proud of, what I’m learning, the little wins, and of course, the occasional whoas when things don’t go quite as planned.

The things you’ll find in my shop are the projects that turned out just right and that I’m genuinely proud to put my name on. Everything is handmade by me, one piece at a time, so each one has a little character of its own.
